Flash Story in Queen Mob's Tea House

I always love the kooky work Queen Mob's Tea House shares with the world, so I'm pretty excited they published my flash story, "Texas Homecoming," today. As a native Texan, this was a fun, satirical story to write, about the ridiculous high school mum culture in the south that has seemingly become more intense and high-production over time. I'm lucky to have escaped the long-term back pain effects of mum wearing, as I was never asked to a Homecoming dance.

Poem In Interrupture

I feel like I've been sending work to interrupture forever, and I can now happily share my poem they published in their latest issue, called "Poison Pink." It's one in a series of feminist poems I wrote after a discussion about, believe it or not, lipstick.

Satire Essay In Heavy Feather Review

I wrote a humorous piece about how the Gilmore Girls would react to the 2016 election results, called "Binge-Watching White Feminism", that Heavy Feather Review was kind enough to publish as part of their #NotMyPresident series. Because making people laugh is kind of how I deal. :)

Flash Story in The Conium Review

I'm really thrilled to be part of the latest issue of The Conium Review, with my flash story, "Copy Machine." It features some other fabulous work, including a story by one of my favorites, Shane Jones. You can order a copy here.
