New Gig At Storyscape!
I was recently asked to join the staff of Storyscape Journal as a prose editor, and their new issue that I helped choose work for is now live here! Check it out, especially James Gyure's story, "The Skunk," which I fell in love with for its layers. I love all the work I've gotten to read for Storyscape, so far, and I can't wait to work on future issues.

Essay at Pregnant Chicken
I wrote a lighthearted little piece about how I was convinced I'd always deliver a baby before forty weeks and the resulting anger when I was proven wrong, and Pregnant Chicken loved it enough to publish it. You can read it here. It's hard for women to justify any emotions other than joy during pregnancy, but the spectrum of feelings during that time is so large, and it's perhaps a little eye-opening to record those moments at very specific points. This essay was written a day or two before my due date, and really, how can one's emotions not be all over the place then....but my anger wasn't well received by all.

Poems in Jet Fuel Review
I'm so happy to have two lipstick poems (I know it feels like I have a zillion of these, I promise you I don't) in the new issue of Jet Fuel Review, which is packed with so much other great work, I'm honored to have a spot there. Definitely check out the whole issue, along with my pieces here.

Poem in decomP
Happy to share that another one of the lipstick poems, "Play Date Black," is in the new fabulous issue of decomP, and you can read it here. It's one of my favorites, as it features scared babies and black lipstick, so there you go.

Interview and Review: Joanna Valente's XENOS
I wrote a short review of Joanna Valente's e-book, XENOS, and interviewed her about how the book came together. You can read it over at Entropy, and you can read XENOS for free as part of the Agape Editions Morning House Series.

More Poems In Quail Bell Magazine
The rest of my Quail Bell feature is live, with a few more poems from the upcoming PLAYING ONE ON TV. Check out "Joey Potter's Creek," "Every Girl I Know Is Angelica Pickles," and "All of It Explains It All," about Clarissa Darling and her platonic friendship I'll forever be jealous of. I love getting these poems out there and can't wait for the book to come out, later this year!
